Stella Maris is one of five schools that form the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.The Parish is in a major growth corridor in the Western suburbs of Melbourne and each school has a catchment/containment area (zone).To apply for Stella Maris Catholic Primary School you will need to reside in the catchment area as outlined in the map below.

1. Applications

Once received, applications will be considered in the following priority order:

Baptised Catholic children resident in the designated zone/catchment area of the Holy Trinity Parish.
Brothers and sisters of currently enrolled students in the school.
Baptised Catholic children resident in other parishes (special circumstances only).
Baptised children from Christian religions which share a special relationship with the history and traditions of the Catholic Church.
Non-Catholic children.

Applications will not be considered if you do not meet the following criteria:

Location of your primary residence within the catchment area.
Accurate completion of our application criteria
All relevant medical information attached

Prior to filling out the application form online, please read the Terms and Conditions of Enrolment.

Applications for Foundation 2027 are now open Parents/Carers should complete the online application with all the required documentation.

If your child was born 1 May 2021 – 30 April 2022 they are eligible to enrol for Prep in 2027.

There is a $50 non-refundable application fee for all Foundation 2027 applications.

2. Interview

Families may be invited to an enrollment interview with the Principal or Deputy Principals.

3. Offer

The offer of a place at Stella Maris will be forwarded to the successful applicant. Foundation offers will be sent according to the timeline. Subsequent second round offers may be forwarded depending upon availability. Families of all other year levels will be notified shortly after the interview if a place is available. All places are offered at the Principal’s discretion. Failure to provide or disclose relevant information will result in the offer being withdrawn.

4. Acceptance

Foundation 2026 families must return the Enrolment Acceptance documentation to the School along with a $200 enrollment acceptance fee.

5. Transition

Transition information will be distributed to the successful families.
